Match Number Ten: Drew McIntyre and Shane McMahon versus Roman Reigns and Gary Garbutt

Roman with clotheslines and a flying clothesline to Drew. Drew with a boot and Roman with a Samoan drop. Roman sets for a Superman punch and Drew with a boot and punch followed by a head butt. Roman bumps into Gary on the apron and Drew sends Roman into the ring post. Drew brings Gary into the ring and Shane tags in. Shane shuffles around and Gary goes to the apron. Gary with an enzuigiri and springboard clothesline. Gary with a handspring round kick and punches. Gary with a plancha onto Drew. Gary goes to the apron and hits a springboard cross body but he runs into a Claymore. Shane gets the three count.

Winners: Shane McMahon and Drew McIntyre

After the match, Roman with a Superman punch to Drew. Shane holds Drew back because Drew wants to return to the ring.

Gary takes off the mask and we see that it was Cedric Alexander.

We go right to the ring and out comes WWE RAW Women’s Champion Sasha Banks as JoJo introduces her.

They air a look back at last week’s title change. Fans chant “you deserve it” as Sasha takes the mic. She says she feels like she’s on top of the world right now. She says she had big dreams growing up as she watched her hero Eddie Guerrero. Fans chant for Eddie now. Sasha wishes Eddie a Happy Birthday. She watched Lita and Trish Stratus tear it up in the main event and wanted to be like them. Her dreams came true last week. She put her body on the line and stole the show when she became a two-time champion. Sasha says this isn’t just about her. It’s about the women who came before her, the ones still to come and the little girls at home who want to be like her. Sasha goes on and proposes that Charlotte’s rematch at Hell In a Cell take place inside the Cell. The music hits and out comes Charlotte.

Charlotte walks to the ring but she’s interrupted by Rusev’s music. She stops on the ramp as Lana and Rusev march to the ring. Rusev takes the mic. Charlotte is in the ring now. Rusev says nobody cares about the stupid women’s revolution or the fact that they main evented RAW last week. He goes on until Charlotte snatches the mic. She asks Rusev who the hell he thinks he is. No one disrespects the queen. Charlotte accepts Sasha’s challenge for the Cell. Rusev takes the mic back. He says this is his ring and whatever he says, goes. Sasha smacks the mic out of his hand. Lana gets in between them.

Lana calls them lost women who need to know their place. She says they whine like little girls. She goes on and they knock her down. Rusev gets upset. Sasha and Charlotte knock him to the floor. Lana joins him and throws a fit. Rusev comes back to the apron and enters the ring. The music hits and out comes WWE United States Champion Roman Reigns to a mixed reaction. Rusev readies for a fight but leaves with Lana as Reigns looks on from the ring with Sasha and Charlotte. Reigns’ music hits and he raises the title as Lana and Rusev leave.

Foley has made Reigns and Sasha vs. Rusev and Charlotte for later tonight.

Backstage segment with Sasha and Reigns. Sasha says she knows what she’s getting herself into with Hell In a Cell. She tells Reigns to just take care of Rusev tonight. Sasha walks off and we go to commercial.

Back from the break and we get Royal Rumble hype already.

Roman Reigns and Sasha Banks vs. Rusev and Charlotte

We go to the ring and out first comes Charlotte. Rusev is out next with Lana. WWE RAW Women’s Champion Sasha Banks is out first for her team. WWE United States Champion Roman Reigns is out next.

We get some stalling with tags to start. Back and forth between Reigns and Rusev for several minutes. Fans chant for Sasha. Sasha ends up taking Charlotte down on the floor and Reigns sends Rusev out beside her. We go to commercial with Reigns and Sasha standing tall in the ring while Rusev and Charlotte are looking on from the floor.

Back from the break and Rusev dropkicks Reigns for a 2 count. Fans chant for Sasha again. Rusev keeps control and slams Reigns for another 2 count. Reigns comes back with a Superman punch out of nowhere. Charlotte tags in as does Sasha. Sasha strikes first. She goes on and hits a dropkick. Sasha ends up hitting the double knees as Charlotte goes to the corner. Sasha with running knees in the corner and then another double knees for a 2 count. Charlotte ends up rolling her up for a 2 count. Sasha applies the Banks Statement. Rusev comes in but Reigns spears him. Charlotte taps out.

Winners: Roman Reigns and Sasha Banks

After the bell, Sasha’s music hits as she stands tall with Reigns in the middle of the ring. We go to replays.

We go to the ring and out comes WWE United States Champion Roman Reigns as we get a look back at this title win.

Reigns starts off with a promo on how his bloodline has dominated WWE for a long time but never won the United States Title until now. Reigns says that’s because he’s The Guy and he comes out to represent his family on a nightly basis… the music interrupts and out comes Lana.

A “thank you Lana” chant starts. Lana says Rusev doesn’t know she’s out here. Reigns isn’t buying that. Lana says Rusev is challenging Reigns to a rematch. Lana goes on and Reigns just smirks at her. Lana gets upset and Reigns says she needs to relax. He tells her to go to the back and send Rusev out. She tells Reigns to go to hell. Out comes Rusev now. Reigns meets him at ringside and they brawl. They bring it in and Rusev blocks a Superman punch. Reigns ducks a superkick but gets the best of Reigns and sends him out. Reigns goes for a Superman punch off the steps but Rusev kicks him. Rusev sends Reigns into the steps and superkicks him over the barrier into the crowd. Rusev grabs the title and stands tall as we go to replays. Rusev’s music hits as he leaves with Lana, standing tall with the title on the stage. He drops the title and turns to leave but Reigns runs from the back and leaves him laying with a Superman punch. We go to a replay. Reigns retrieves his title to a mixed reaction. Reigns accepts the challenge for Hell In a Cell but says it will be inside the Cell.

Tonight’s WWE RAW kicks off with new WWE United States Champion Roman Reigns making his way out. Rusev and Lana wait in the ring.

WWE United States Title Match: Rusev vs. Roman Reigns

We get the bell and they go at it to start. Rusev takes Reigns down early on and keeps him grounded.

Back from a break and Rusev is still in control. Reigns powers out of a hold with big right hands but Rusev nails a nice dropkick to the mouth. Rusev stands tall as Lana laughs at ringside.

Rusev keeps control with big suplexes and two more pin attempts. Reigns finally makes a comeback and goes for the Superman punch but Rusev catches him and they both tumble over the top rope. Reigns lands on the back of Rusev’s head and both are down as we go back to commercial.

Back from the break and Rusev covers for a 2 count. Rusev focuses on the back and they end up on the top. Reigns fights off a superplex and knocks Rusev to the mat. Reigns with a clothesline from the top. Reigns ends up catching Rusev in a Samoan Drop for a 2 count. More back and forth. Rusev misses a kick and eats a right hand. More shots from Reigns. Rusev with a spin kick for 2.

Rusev drops a pair of headbutts to the chest for another 2 count. Rusev goes back up top but Reigns knocks him to the floor with a right hand. Reigns follows and sends him into the barrier. Reigns brings it back in but Rusev nails a kick to the head. Reigns kicks out at 2. Rusev charges with the superkick but misses. Reigns misses a Superman punch. More back and forth now. Reigns runs into a superkick for another close pin attempt. Reigns ends up nailing a Superman punch but Rusev kicks out at 2. Lana tries to distract on the apron but it backfires and Reigns sends Rusev to the floor. Reigns nails a Drive By and works Rusev around the ring, sending him into the steps. Reigns knocks Rusev over the barrier into the crowd. Reigns fights Rusev through the crowd for the double count out.

Double Count Out

– After the bell, the two fight back to ringside and Rusev takes control. Reigns goes for a big Superman punch off the steps but Rusev nails a steel chair shot to the gut. Rusev with another chair shot to the back. He slides Reigns and the chair in the ring. Rusev goes in and waits with the chair. Reigns nails a spear and grabs the chair. Reigns takes a seat in the chair with his title as some fans boo. Reigns’ music hits as he looks down at Rusev and we go to replays.

Reigns music stops and he walks over to smack Rusev in the back with the chair. Rusev retreats to the floor with Lana as Reigns stands tall with the title again.

In the opening segment of the show, we go right to the ring and out comes Roman Reigns. Reigns takes the mic but is immediately interrupted by RAW Commissioner Stephanie McMahon. Stephanie says she understands why Reigns is out but she has a show to run. She and Mick Foley came up with a solution and… She’s quickly interrupted by RAW General Manager Mick Foley.

Foley says they did come up with a solution and it was his doing. Foley admits he let last week’s show get away from him while Stephanie was in Singapore on business. Foley says he’s made Rollins vs. WWE United States Champion Rusev for tonight because of their actions in last week’s main event. Reigns wonders what that does for him. Foley says Reigns will get his shot at Rusev on Sunday for the title at Clash of Champions. Foley talks about how they’re all on the same team when it comes down to it and in a battle for their jobs against SmackDown. He makes Reigns vs. Owens for the Universal Title as tonight’s main event. This brings out Owens, who says he beat Reigns twice last week and should be preparing for Sunday’s match. Foley ends up making tonight’s main event a steel cage match.

Steel Cage Match: Roman Reigns vs. Kevin Owens

We go to the ring and out first comes Roman Reigns to the cage as JoJo does the introduction. WWE Universal Champion Kevin Owens is out next.

Owens with some trash talking before they lock up but he quickly goes for the cage door. Reigns stops him. Owens goes for the door again but Reigns stop him. Owens tries to climb the cage but he’s stopped. Back and forth. Reigns hits a big forearm for a mixed reaction. We go back to commercial after more action.

More back and forth and escape attempts after the break. Reigns drops Owens for another 2 count. Reigns talks trash and unloads in the corner as fans count along. Owens blocks a boot and hits a German suplex. Owens with the corner cannonball. Reigns stops Owens from going for the door. Owens goes for the senton but lands on knees. Reigns goes for the door but Owens grabs his leg. They trade shots as they get to their feet now.

Owens with a knee to the gut. Reigns avoids a pop-up powerbomb. More back and forth in the middle of the ring now. They unload with strikes. Owens with a superkick. Reigns blocks the pop-up powerbomb with a Superman punch for a 2 count. Reigns readies for a spear but runs into a kick. Owens with the pop-up powerbomb for a close 2 count. Owens climbs the cage and gets to the top but Reigns grabs a leg. They fight on the top rope now. Owens talks trash and slams Reigns’ head into the steel repeatedly. Reigns nails a Superman punch from the top and they both fall to the mat. Owens calls for the door to be opened. Owens climbs out of the door while Reigns climbs the cage wall. Reigns makes it to the floor just a second before Owens makes it out. Reigns gets the non-title win.

Winner: Roman Reigns

After the match, Rusev runs down but Reigns gets the upperhand as they brawl outside of the cage. Reigns goes down as Owens kicks the cage door into him from the inside. They bring Reigns in the ring and work him over. Rusev brings a chain in the ring and locks the door shut with he, Owens and Reigns inside. They double team Reigns now. Rusev applies The Accolade as Owens talks trash in Reigns’ face. Seth Rollins’ music hits and out he comes. Rollins climbs the cage as Owens tries to stop him. Rollins knocks him to the mat. Rusev also gets knocked off. Rollins leaps off the top of the cage and takes both men down. RAW goes off the air with everyone trying to get back to their feet inside the cage.
